Drama ensured at the Grand Finale of Miss Uganda 2019 as Ms Santina Anshemeza who was just named Miss Pulse was dethroned a few minutes after. According to the organizers, there was an unforeseen error in the results.
“The error emerged from a mix up in the compilation of the votes from the two voting platforms; the Miss Uganda app and the MTN Pulse Microsite. “ it was revealed.
Ms Santina was already awarded with a Sh 2M Dummy check by MTN, the sponsors of the award well known as Miss Popularity in the previous Miss Uganda events.
According to Sylvia Alhibai, the winner will be communicated later via Miss Uganda social pages.
