The Selection Process
The selection of the beauty queens from which Miss Rwanda is selected involves tours in four provinces of the country,
and the capital city of Kigali to get five contestants in each, who would then go through a mini-camp before heading to the semi-finals.
The Contest
At the semi finals, out of 25 girls, 10 girls are eliminated following strict rules and guidelines. The remaining 15 girls then head to a two week boot camp that further leads to the grand finale.

The contestants are put to different challenges out of which judges decide the winners based on the ability to become a role model and a compelling figure that actively contributes to the country’s social and cultural progress.
Since 2016, the Winner of Miss Rwanda represents the country in the Miss World, a world-class beauty pageant.
