Singer Bobi Wine’s record land slide victory for the parliamentary seat of Kyadondo East could have set a landmark of inspiration to different musicians to test their luck in Uganda’s politics.
Among the recently added onto the list of music artistes who are eyeing to join politics in 2021, is Rapper Daniel Kigozi a.k.a Navio who has shown interest in probably the Rubaga South constituency parlimentary seat.
“I want to bring change in my constituency… That’s why I studied political science and conflict resolution at university” Said Navio who claims hasn’t settled for any political party to represent in the up coming elections.
To confirm the ‘buzz’ legit, the Navcop music label co-founder rapper shared a photo of himself and Bobi Wine captioned “MCs to MPs. RUBAGA 2021.”
