2016/ 2017 English Premier League top contenders, Chelsea fc’s midfielder N’Golo Kante, a revelation behind Chelsea’s resurgence this season is now the reigning Professional Footballers’ Association player.
“To be chosen by the players as player of the year means a lot to me… it’s been two beautiful seasons, one with Leicester, and we are in good form with Chelsea. it’s a great honor.” Kante Lamented.
Former defending champions Leicester City midfielder, who is on course of winning a second successive Premier League title landed the prestigious prize after securing the most votes from his fellow players seeing off competition from Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard who won the award in 2015, Tottenham’s Harry Kane, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Manchester United and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.
