The Officer in Charge of Criminal Investigations at Makerere University Police Station has landed himself in trouble after trying to Shelf a sexual harassment case charged over the University’s former administrator, Mr Kisuze Edward.
According to close sources, Jackson Amali – the accused officer, was over the weekend picked up on the orders of the Director of the Criminal Investigations Department, Grace Akullo to clear himself about the accusations.
It should be noted that Mr Kisuze Edward, a Makerere University staff was arrested by police and charged with sexual harrasment to Ms Njoroge Rachael after appearing in a viral selfie snap on social media earlier last week while in action of licking her veejay jay from his office.
Njoroge reported a case against Kisuze at Makerere University police station on April 14th 2018, accusing ‘billy goat’ administrator of sexually assaulting her when she went to pick her transcript. But, despite the complaint, Amali reportedly didn’t take any action as neither recorded a statement from the complainant nor did he give her a medical form.
The officer has so far been arrested and the Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed the arrest. We have learnt that Amali is currently being investigated by the professional Standards Unit for abuse of office and case mismanagement.
