Are you a big beer or food lover, yes, this is for you. The renowned biggest beer and food festival, Oktoberfest, is back slated this September 23rd, 2017 at the Uganda Museum as confirmed by Florence Kyohangirwe, the festival’s Communications and Publicity Director.
As previous editions, this 2017 edition also mirrors the world’s renowned Bavarian Beer and food festival in Munich, Germany, right here in Kampala under the theme, ‘Beer, Food and Fashion’.
Expect lots of music, definitely lots of beer at very pocket friendly prices, drinking games, food and fashion plus free giveaways for those that will get the Worldwide Oktoberfest dress code right that is the traditional Bavarian costume where men wear Lederhosen while women wear Dirndls.
For that reason a number of judges and Ugandan designers have been invited to dress guests to the event as part of an online competition which will culminate into prize-giving at the event.
