Renowned motor cross aces Aviv, Stav and Alon Orland alias ‘the Orland brothers’ are done with the preparations for the 2017 FIM Motocross of African Championship and all they are waiting is a victory.
This follows these brothers representing Uganda in the MX85 and MX65 respectively in the forthcoming African MX championship kicking off this weekend 26-27th August in Gaborone, Botswana.
The brothers expressed their readiness for the race as they put their sights on nothing else but victory in Botswana.
“We are ready for the event, we have been doing a lot of practice back in America which will help us compete very well in Botswana…… We have watched some videos from Botswana and we found out the track is familiar from what we have been used to in Uganda.. giving us more courage to go for a win..” assures the elder brother, Aviv Orland.
Aviv is the defending African MX85 champion following a record he put last year being the first Ugandan to win an African MX title. He will however race against his young brother Stay in the same class.
The Orland brothers will join other 27 riders to fly the Uganda flag in Botswana.
