The 2018/19 season of the Uganda Premier League will see another club from West Nile competing on the log of 16 teams, Paidha Black Angels. They join their mates, Onduparaka that finished fourth in the recently concluded season and we are yet to see one of the hottest derbies in the League, the West Nile Derby.
Leaving that alone, the rivalry has just got a spin as Betting Company Bet Lion has joined hands with Paidha to give rivals in Betway and who sponsor the Caterpillars a run for their money.
Hehe… Come next season, it will be a battle of pride, sponsors and regional dominance. Paidha Black Angels got promoted to the League after beating Kitara FC in the 3rd play off match of the Big League in mid May. They joined Nyamityobola and Ndejje University that had earlier qualified after topping their respective groups in the Big League.
