On thursday morning this week, faded singer Qute Kaye was caught red handed stealing car indicators before narrowly surving thumping from the thugs-fed-up revellers.
It should also be remembered that some time back, the ‘Jinkese’ singer had denounced the devil and professed salvation before thousands of viewers at Pastor Kayanja’s 77 Days of Glory (DOGS) in Miracle Center Cathedral but according to believer, he kept of befriending the spirits of drunkenness and theft. It is also alleged that he quit the deliverance center after stealing a Laptop from the church.
However, as a man of God who once tried to lift back the scrawny Kaye back to the life of his hey days, Pastor Robert Kayanja has a word to comment on his current unpleasant condition.
Speaking at the 77 DOGS recently, Pastor Kayanja said that though the news left him heart broken and speechless, he was told by the Holy Spirit that all things would work together for good. Here is what he said.
“As a soul winner, I came to this place very heavy hearted especially when you see what a brother like Qute Kaye is going through…. People like to judge, but just help him. He came at a point when he wanted to kill himself.
This was the last leg. It has been a year and a half, he is still alive – still struggling with heavy addictions but that does not stop our love, prayer and our believing in him, because that is what God called us to do and we will keep on doing that,..
Remember that a righteous man falls seven times and gets up again. We believe God is going to help him get up again. This is not the time to give up. It is the time to be there and pray for him. I believe from there now, he will sober up. I know the spirit is willing but the flesh.” He said amidst cheers from the congregation.
