The body of renowned music producer Dan Mukisa alias Danz Kumapeesa, who passed away on October 7th, 2017 at Nsambya hospital, has been laid to rest at his ancestral grave yards at Kabanyoro village in Gayaza, Wakiso District amidst deep sighs and tears from family members, fellow celebrities and fans.
Danz Kumpaeesa, the producer of hits like Winnie Nwagi’s ‘musawo’ and Bebe Cool’s ‘Mbozi za Malwa’ was hospitalised after being assaulted by unknown thugs on June 6th, 2017 at his home in Makindye, who cracked his skull, that made him stay in comma for almost 3 months and it has been only a few weeks after getting back to consciousness when God asked for hor his soul to rest in Peace.
Danz’s mother, Jennifer Kisakye who has been catering for the deceased till the breath of his last together with his twin sister Ruth thanked God that her son died a born-again Christian who had confessed his sins on his death bed before cursing all those that were involved in the fetal attack that claimed the life of his son.
Danz’ sister Ruth Mirembe added that she has forgiven whoever brought death to her dear brother before sorrowfully asking these goons to get saved and to keep in mind that they will have to pay for whatever they did to Danz.
Mean while, according to family members, President Museveni helped them pay for the funeral services and to retrieve Danz’ body from Nsambya hospital, which had seized it because of unpaid medical bills worth Shs2.5m. This allegedly comes in since Danz efforts of producing the song ‘Tubonga nawe’, which headlined Museveni’s 2016 presidential campaigns.
