Norway based Kenyan rapper STL alias Stella Mwangi has released a new video with explicit lyrics. ‘Ready to Pop’ is the name of the Video which is the first release from her independent label Badili Aliki Music.
Before the Video starts, the Kenyan International rapper warns: ‘Parental Advisory: Explicit Content’ as the lyrics are laced with explicit undertones.
The single was produced by Tom Rodger Rogstad and Kim Hoglund. I is a mix of underground hip hop tunes.
After the official release, STL has then promised her fans and followers to expect fire next year.
“Expect fire pon yo head top in 2018! I am coming out with some good heat for my true fans as well as new ones. You have all been so supportive – thank you!” STL posted on her social media.
Stella’s songs have not been doing bad on the international scene. Some have featured as official trailer soundtracks for Hollywood movies like Rough Night and Bad Moms Christmas plus TV series like Being Mary Jane on BET, Rosewood on FOX TV and Insecure on HBO TV.
Others earned two commercial deals with world-renowned fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, and theme song for the Reebok Classics ‘Free your style’ worldwide campaign. This was in collaboration with American songstress and fashion icon Teyana Taylor.
