After Legendary Ssongstress Irene Namubiru revealing how she grew up under harsh living conditions including being mistreated by her relatives where she was forced to live with, they have come out to say a word about the ‘Nkuweeki’ Singer’s shaming comments about them.
In a video recording by Irene’s half brother identified as Mukasa Senkandwa, he consoles them selves on behalf of family that Namubiru never got into the schools she desired because she was a poor performer. This came up when he was stressing the fact that she never acknowledged or visited her biological father, the late Mubiru, yet she used to go to a school near his home in Mityana.
“She studied from Namukoza Senior Secondary School, it was close to her father’s home but she never branched to see him. She also felt like she went to such a school because our father hated her but it was not the case, we all went to the same school……
She desired to go to Gayaza High School but at that time our parents had no money and important of all her performance could never have allowed her to be admitted in such a school.” Mukasa bragged
Mukasa admits that Namubiru was only their mother’s daughter, her father being different from theirs and that she was brought into their family by their mother, Justine Namawejje who she pinned out that she never proteced her.
“…the only person who knows my family, the one who denied me the right to my true FAMILY and the one who continues to live in denial and refuses to listen, she never protected me,” Extract of her post reads.
On this, Mukasa defended their mother saying that Iryn came with their mother as a young girl, she (mother) had to move to look for money and take care of them like how parents do.
“How come for her (Irene) she can leave her children in a different country in order to move and look for money? Let her stop disgracing and blaming our mother.” He pointed out.
Mukasa concluded by saying that it is depressing that Irene, at her age, can say such things of tarnishing the name of their dead father (Wilberforce Seguya Mukasa) before requsting her to she come back to her senses and seek right counsel on this issue because parents are our gods on earth.
“She should tell the whole world her real background and whose money she grew up feeding on.” He concluded
