The changes that Hotel Africana has made towards events management have already started making major impacts in Uganda’s music industry.
After the announcement that there will not be any more hosting of outdoor events at the hotel as allegedly directed by KCCA due to what the city management authority calls ‘noise pollution’, artists’ concerts have been already been affected and among these is Rema Namakula’s.
The Akaliro singer had scheduled a concert on May 5th at the hotel but this date might be changed due to effect of these changes.
While talking to our reliable sources, Rema said she got issues with Africana, but still planning on what move to do next and confirm the public about the final plans though she still has an option of holding the concert indoors at the same venue.
