Kitende based newly constructed world class football stadium, St Mary’s Stadium – Kitende, the new home for Vipers Sports Club and St Mary’s Kitende S.S has got a sponsorship from the leading steel manufacturing company in Uganda, Roofings, in a two years deal worthy half a billion Uganda shillings (Ugx 500M) to cater for its accomplishment.
This has been unveiled by SC Vipers Simon Sekankya and Roofings Executive Director, Oliver Lalani on the event that has taken place at the Golf Course hotel in Kampala.
The deal has come a week after CAF club licensing committee led by Mushoka approved the stadium to host competitive games.
The club president Lawrence Mulindwa showed his gratitude towards the sponsors by saying, “We feel proud and privileged to be associated with an established company like Roofings. We also thank Hima for opening the door to more partnerships. We have put up the structure for serious business.”
