Ever since Alex Muhangi broke ties with Bukoto based Dinners lounge where he used to hold his weekly comedy store shows to relocate to the neighboring 400 Bar and restaurant, words have not been good for him as he is
now in a battle of giants and no traces of support from some of his former colleagues.
According to close sources, frictions have emerged with the ‘Man from Ombokolo’, Idringi Salvador who currently takes Dinners’ lead since his blood brother, Arube Thomas, a.k.a Toma is the brain behind Dinners comedy.
Salvador is now in charge booking of all comedians and marketing the package together with the likes of Andrew Kyamagero, Miss Uganda’s Tonny Muthengu, and Vince Musisi.
Therefore, in order for all to be well for Alex Muhangi, he has to battle with al these so he can secure their audience yet according to rumor from some of the comedians, Muhangi pays peanuts and yet he spends a lot to stage the show.
And worse of all, KCCA law enforcement officers confiscated Muhangi’s sound equipments accusing the venue of sound pollution, an act that the bar management failed to digest.
