This Tuesday 25th April 2017, SC Vipers fans are to be allover the place at Phillip Omondi Stadium Lugogo, cheering up their club taking on the league defending champions who are on the run of keeping an unbeaten record in home matches for Azam Uganda Premier League.
It’s only three days since Mike Mutebi’s boys secured an away vital point from the table leader’s SC Villa in a game that ended 1 – 1 at Masaka Recreatio grounds.
This is going to be a great test for KCCA, facing off two league giants in a time window of three days but this aint a point to coach Mike Mutebi as he is insisting he and his boys are still on a title race and ready to take on any opponent who comes by their way and taking every game as a final.
Despite SC Vipers Aggrey Madoi high chances of missing out tomorrow’s clash due to an injury, the club head coach, Jorge Miguel Duarte Da Costa has threatened to ruin this home unbeaten run urguing his side to make history by being the first away team to win at Lugogo this season.
“We are going there for victory only, We want to be the first side to bring their unbeaten home run to an end”
Vipers SC took advantage of the first leg battle by winning KCCA FC 1 – 0 while the club was still hosting matches from the now devastated Nakivubo stadium.
On the visitor’s side, Halid Lwaliwa and Frank ‘Zagga’ Tumwesigye are fit for tomorrow’s match while for the hosts, Denis Okot who missed the game against SC Villa is confirmed fit for the clash.
