Kitende based Azam Uganda Premier League side SC Vipers has unveiled another sponsor, DFCU Bank, on a one year renewable contract.
This raises the number of sponsors for the former FUFA President, Lawrence Mulindwa owned Soccer Club to three after Hima Cement that entered a Shs 623m deal with the club in late 2016 and Roofings Limited with a Shs 500m stadium understanding earlier this year.
The new sponsors will be appearing on the Club kit just below the Shirt numbers at the back.
Other Local Club Sponsorship
- The deal comes in the moment as more corporate companies continue to associate with Local football. KCCA FC who are getting Shs 1.29 billions from MTN for three years also extended their Startimes partnership to 2021 with Shs 3.2 billions being given in exchange for the Phillip Omondi Stadium Naming rights. Prime Media too have a three year contract with the champions from last year with Shs 750m being quoted while Britam injected Shs 1.4 billions for the same period since 2016.
- Just Before the start of this campaign, Onduparaka FC renewed their partnership with Betway worth Shs 600m, up from Shs 180m before adding MTN on a one year Shs 390m deal.
- Other sponsors for different clubs include, Startimes with a Shs 1.5 billion year partnership with SC Villa, Lato Milk and Ferro Mobile with a Shs 130 million deal with Bright Stars, and lastly the league new comers scooped a Shs 200 million deal with Top Bet.
