Sheebah is famous because of me – Keko

Spoilt my name for people to feel sorry for her as the damsel in distress

The “i’m gonna make you dance” hit maker Jocelyne Tracy Keko a .k .a Keko has said that sheebah used her name that has seen the “Akusse” singer gain the popularity in Ugandan Music lovers till now. While asked about her relationship with sheebah who she had promised last year to beat up and leave the country, Keko denied that she said nothing about that and added that sheebah gained fame because of her.

The channel O award winner said that some time back, stories wrote about her beating up Sheebah, but the waddawa hit maker never came out to clear her buddy’s name, sheebah used to reply “no comment” whenever she was asked about it by media guys with an intention of making Keko look bad to the people so that they could feel sorry for Sheebah as the damsel in distress.

Keko claims that, that gave Seebah a step ahead because people were not writing stories about her before that. “She was riding on my name to get fame because why weren’t there stories about her before that?”

Keko started her career on high about eight years ago, consistently raining hits that made her a house hold name across East Africa. She is the first Ugandan to be signed by a prestigious recording company, Sony Music Africa that made her scoop several awards including a Channel O award.
