Set to play for the club on a loan deal of 6 months

Proline FC young star Edrissa Lubega “Torres” has been signed on a loan deal of 6 months by an Austrian second league (Erste Liga ) club Floridsdorfer Athletics Sports Club. The deal is to act as a probation contract for the club to watch and stud the player, if he impresses and fits the team, then he will be signed on a permanet deal. Proline’s seven goals scorer’s deal was been confirmed on the club’s official website.

“Edrisa Lubega struck me at the U17 Africa Cup two years ago with his enormous speed and physical robustness. I would like to thank our team manager Lukas Fischer who has put great energy into this transfer since mid-December. We are very glad that he is eligible for the game right now,” GF Dominik Glawogger.

Lubega came to the limelight during the 2016/2015 season when Proline was promoted to the Azam Uganda Premier League last season and was also the top scorer of the FUFA Big League regular season with 19 goals while at the same time playing for his school team, Dynamic SS Mukono.
