Tear gas fills up Kakindu Stadium as Vipers, Kirinya SS fans Fall out

AZAM PREMIER LEAGUE: SC Vipers’ coach Miguel Da Costa was sent into tears by tear gas that filled up Kakindu Jinja Stadium by Uganda police to calm down Kirinya Jinja SS and SC Vipers fans who had fallen out after Vipers losing 1 – 0 to the hosts.
Kirinya fans wanted to attack the Portuguese international who had just realized his first loss at the club claiming he was spoiling the club’s property by kicking the plastic chairs that had been organised for Vipers officials.

The situation that later called upon police intervention started towards the end of the game when Kirinya fans hid the match day balls in a bid to waste time and possibly cool down the pace that Vipers SC had set in a bid to get the game equalized.
