New KCCA FC striking force Muhammed Shaban has started to show off why the league champions had to do anything that was needed to secure him from the West Nile favorites, Onduparaka FC in a controversial transfer.
He put up an exceptional performance and named man of the match after scored netting a phenomenal hat trick (three goals in one game) in a 4-0 victory to Mike Mutebi’s boys against Soana FC at Kavumba Recreational Stadium on Saturday 18th November 2017. Shaban scored on his first match at Startimes Stadium, Lugogo when the kasasiro boys were defeating the table leaders, Police FC by 2 – 0 4 days before.
He scored in the 42nd that gave his side a 1 – 0 lead by the break off beofre netting the others in the 67th and 89th minutes to add his personal tally for KCCA FC to 4 goals in two matches. Derrick Nsibambi got the other 19 minutes to full time.
This was the 5th victory for the 12-time Uganda Premier League winners, who are on course for a hat-trick of successive titles to keep pace with leaders, Police who won 2-1 against URA at Namboole with 20 points from 11 games, one point ahead of KCCA, Onduparaka FC and SC Villa.
Soana not in a good state
Meanwhile, this was the forth loss of the season to Soana who are now positioned in the 11th with 13 points, they will be making a short trip across town as they visit Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on Tuesday 21st November, on the same date when KCCA will be hosting Vipers.
