As usual, non-Universal Secondary Education students put up a better performance. Girls shown up a better performance in English Language although in overall subjects, the boys beat them and biology registered a slight performance although other science subjects were performed poorly.
UNEB executive secretary Daniel Nokrach Odongo said difficulties were reported in the use of correct spelling, tenses, grammar and punctuations in the writing of English compositions. Students are cramming English passages as well as spotting questions.
Meanwhile, while speaking shortly before the official release of the results, UNEB chairperson Prof. Mary Okwakol revealed that results of 1,893 candidates have been withheld until investigations are complete.
