Uganda Cranes Back Home from Cape Verde

Uganda Cranes team of officials and players has returned home today morning from Cape Verde from where they played the first AFCON 2019 Qualifier match that they won 1 – 0.

They were received at the Entebbe Internatioan airport by FUFA Vice President Justus Mugisha.
The new Cranes captain Dennis Onyango on arrival at the Airport thanked all the Cranes fans for the support.

“It was not an easy experience but we responded positively… We worked for the desired result & got it “ – Captain Dennis Onyango

Uganda Cranes Head Coach Micho thanked the players for not turning him down and advised them to this win as a motive in the next fixtures that also include the World Cup 2018 qualifiers.

I thank the players, FUFA…. There is a lot ahead of us. We have a dream of qualifying for the world cup” He said.

FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo also thanked the players, sponsors that is Airtel Uganda, FUFA Executive committee and secretariat.
