Former Hot100 FM Presenter and fast rising media personality King Shovon Malcolm (Pictured Left) has no kind words for the organisers of the Uganda Entertainment Awards. This comes after the Television host of arguably one of the finest and most viewed youth entertainment shows, Skizzy on Urban Television missed out on the nominations list. “If you are going to nominate according to who is your friend or who you don’t like then thats how you lose credibility,” says Shovon.
The Buzz Teeniez Award nominee further asked the organisers to stop organising awards to reward their friends and family.
“Dont create award shows to reward your friends and family,create award shows according to statistics….Its sad this still happens in Uganda….Crappy awards,” rants Shovon
This comes at a time when more and more entertainers are falling out with award organisers over what they call a “of credibility.”
