Adrian Kasito scored 13 points while winger Solomon Okia and eighth man Desire Ayera bagged two tries apiece in the first Group C showdown in the Rugby Africa Cup group C opener at an empty Kyadondo ground to keep our dreams of progressing into the next round alive.
The halftime ended 29-12 in favor of the hosts, Uganda by successful tries from Faraj Odugo, Brian Odongo, Solomon Okia and Desire Ayera. Adrian Kasito had been brilliant with the boot, converting thrice and scoring a penalty too as earlier noted.
This was the first time the national team was playing an international since 2019 die to the Covid-19 pandemic that had put various sports activities on a standstill.
