The reigning league champions, Vipers SC have unveiled their upgraded home of St Mary’s Stadium that will now match the CAF and FIFA standards. It’s just spectacular.
The newly refurbished St Mary’s Stadium has had the playing surface transformed to Artificial turf alongside New world class dressing rooms, Media tribune, new seats in the Northern wing and new modern technical benches.
According to the Club president, Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa, the artificial turf contains the latest edition of artificial grass – G3.

“The laying of the surface is the second of the four phases undertaken in the upgrade of St. Mary’s Stadium. Next, we shall have the modern floodlights & the expansion of the Western wing. This facility is now of international standards and no team can be worried of using it. We also want players adapt to a playing atmosphere they are likely to face when they travel to Europe, ” He added
The stadium will host Vipers home games this season starting with the StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter with Ndejje University this Friday.
