A few years back, we started hearing some music works from the son to the Leone Island boss Jose Chameleon, Abba Marcus Mayanja. However, the youngster’s music career didn’t last for so long that raised a lot of concerns and misconceptions amongst music lovers and analysts.

Many came up with allegations that Daniella, Abba’s mother wasn’t impressed by the idea of his son joining the music industry at such a young age as it would affect not only his education but also the future. Others claimed that after realizing that his music didn’t attract an impressive fan base, he decided to quit and focus on other careers.
However, we have finally established the true reason.
According to his father Chameleon, Abba was demotivated by criticism and negative reviews from social media.

“Abba was focused on his music career till the day he heard some radio presenter criticizing his music piece. He told me that he couldn’t withstand the negativity of people and insults towards musicians on social media. That’s why he decided to quit music to focus on swimming and he is currently a regular on the Swimming National team.” Jose Chameleon revealed.
