This woman might be a brave one!! A woman from Mityana district identified as Nabulime reportedly fought off an escapee prisoner, Deo Serunjogi, who tried to rape her and killed her in her garden.
The deceased who had escaped from Mityana prison three days back and was being hunted by the police met his creator after being hit on the head with a hoe after several attempts of biting and clobbering the woman to get free access to her goodies before she overpowered him.
“I was in the garden where I had gone to pick sweet potatoes when I found a man seated near an anthill…. As I passed by him … he suddenly grabbed me, threw me down and lay on top of me as he tried to strangle me, on top of biting me several times.” Nabulime Lamented..
She added that God helped her to overpower the fella and in the process of self defence, she picked a hoe and hit him with it.
“He collapsed and I pushed him away, before I ran to police.” She concluded!!
The body of the victim was later picked by police and taken to Mityana Hospital mortuary while Nabulime was taken to Mityana Health Centre for medical attention.
