Alex Isabirye Resigns as Vipers SC head coach

Having gratefully succeeded with the club registering double trophies, Alex Isabirye showed off his aggrieved massage to the club following the club’s summoning of the tactical coach before the disciplinary committee.
The club’s CEO Sam Njuba in a letter dated July, 11, 2023 summoned Alex Isabirye to appear before the clubs’ disciplinary committee to explain reasons of absconding club’s duties and responsibilities, not appearing in the club training sessions.
“I am currently recovering from an accident and recovering appropriate medical attention as prescribed by the doctors,” Isabirye acknowledges in a letter dated 12th July 2023.
The former URA and Bull Fc got his appointment as Vipers SC head coach on 12th March 2023 and managed 20 games in Kitende stands.
He came in succeeding Beto Bianchi the Brazilian coach who had lost control of the club both the dressing room and at the pitch yielding no positive results. Since his appointment, Isabirye helped the Kitende based club coherently and consistently win the Star-times Uganda Premier league and the Uganda cup within a short time spell.
However, in a letter, Isabirye criticized the club’s CEO of being untruthful and unfair, “Article 5, Section 3 and 4 of my employment contract, states that I am responsible for endorsing players being recruited and choosing my assistant team/staff in consultation with the club management”.
Musongola revealed that he was not honored and aware of the three club’s recruitments of MR. Raoul Lukusa Kayembe the newly appointed assistant coach from DR Congo, Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez and Luiz Otavio Santos De Araujo “Tinga”.
“I am writing to confirm my formal resignation from the position of the head coach of Vipers Football club due to a breach of my contract,” Isabirye remarked.
His resignation came out from the intense speculations over social media over possible turn shift of the club. Different personals revealed that Vipers had desires to level up with clubs like AC Villa and KCCA FC that officially unveiled international foreign prolific coaches.
Former TP Mazembe titan Frank Dumas appears on a short list of Vipers trying to fulfill the vacant place Isabirye left.
